Let your imagination run wild with this show! Originally conceived to depict the four CORE classes (English, Math, Science and History), you can adapt any number of design ideas to fit this show. There are lots of places for integrated visual ideas, narration and even body movement. It all ends with a funky rendition of the Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture! The brass ranges are manageable (trumpets and horns go above the staff sparingly and only in the first parts) and your woodwinds get solo opportunities as well as technical passages that sound difficult, but lay comfortably under the fingers. The percussion book is seamlessly integrated - conceived to be impactful, but playable. This show appeals to all: staff, students and crowd!
